On Independence Day weekend, All Children's Hospital and the Jeffrey Modell Foundation hosted the third annual Summer Beach Bash at the Don Cesar Beach Resort on St. Pete Beach. Created by Tampa Bay residents James Ramos, founder of Ramos Design Build Corporation, and friend Derek Alvarez, of Genders-Alvarez-Diecidue PA Attorneys At Law, the event featured an annual wiffle ball tournament and raised funds for primary immunodeficiency (PI). The fundraiser helped support research at The Jeffrey Modell Foundation, University of South Florida's Division of Allergy and Immunology and All Children's Hospital.

On May 13, Casa Nova Design Group hosted a party to inaugurate its new South Tampa studio. Held at Casa Nova, the event benefited the Tampa Museum of Art and was hosted by Enrique Crespo, Kylie Italiano, Barbara Lynch, Stephen Gay and Charlie Hounchell. In addition to cocktails and appetizers, the event featured photography by Julie Corrance.
